YPO Leishangthem is a rural based voluntary organisation set-up with a view to extending commendable services to the backward/rural masses in the State of Manipur, irrespective od caste, creed, sex, religions for their upliftment and warefare in all fronts.
The organisation is non-political is a non-governmental, non-political, non-sartorial , non-profit voluntary organisation cameinto existence in the year 1993 as a result of the great endeavours of the youth to root out the shirtcoming face to the rural masses and weaker sections in some respect.
Since its inception, the Youth Progressive Organisation has been taking a major role to disseminate knowledge and skills to the rural youths so that they can undertand their responsibilities and presentations to the society. The organisation also stressed the need on enlightening a new horizon to the rural and backward areas for an overall development. Now the organisation has entered 21 st years of achievement with a sense of provide and satisfaction.
